Saint Maxime;
Sainte-Maxime is a lively town on the French Riviera. It is located on the north side of the bay of St. Tropez and is protected from the mistral by wooded hills. In the old town, opposite the harbour, there are shops, markets, restaurants, bars and cafes. Boats depart from the boulevard to Les Issambres, St Tropez and Port Grimaud, among others.
Sainte-Maxime has a coastline promenade with parks, pine trees, several beaches and a casino with its own beach. A sailing school is located on the west side. On the east side of the city you will find the beaches of La Nartelle, La Plage des Eléphants and La Garonette, all of which have water fun and jet skiing facilities. In addition, there are several smaller unsupervised beaches.
